The stylish Inish Beg Wedding of Stephanie & Colin

by Darren Forde Wedding Photographers Cork

Stephanie & Colin, from the good old U.S. of A, met while studying in UCC in Cork some years ago. So when it came to their wedding, they absolutely had to come back to Ireland and decided upon a gorgeous and elegant Inish Beg wedding. They wanted to return to the place where it all began and they wanted to do it in style and the Inish Beg Island Estate with its miles of woodland paths, beautiful walled garden and secluded location provided the perfect wedding retreat. And so it was, with friends and family, and one excited photographer we all arrived in glorious West Cork on a sunny day in September.

Now if you asked me, it was a beautiful warm day (for September… in Ireland) but somehow I think that sentiment was lost on the American mid-westerners who were used to a slightly more balmy type of summer. That didn’t dampen the celebrations though and after a wonderful ceremony in Skibbereen and a quick walk through the town it was down to the stunning Inish Beg Gardens and the capable hands of Sandra Looney of To Have and to Hold Wedding Planners, where the party began.

And what a great night it was! Guys, thank you for letting me share in your fantastic wedding and especially for that big fat cigar at the end of the night. And I’m still very fond of my Starbucks mug too Steph ?? 😀
